From Marilyn Moll, Urban Homemaker

Our next phone seminar will be Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006 at 9:00 EDT. (Please adjust for your time zone.)

Reb Bradley, of Family Ministries will talk about how to get your childen to obey, what first time obedience means, what the standards should be, and much more. If you are in need of some tips and encouragement regarding child training and other family issues, you will welcome common sense advice from Reb. Reb is a Dad of six children and husband of Bev. They are popular speakers who travel extensively, so we are quite blessed to be able to talk to Reb in a phone seminar. I know you will be edified by listening in. Be sure to send your questions for Reb to marilyn@urbanhomemaker.com.

(I will stop for the day….honest!! Just don’t tell Mr Bradley that we’re to consider him a Titus Two woman.) 😉

I don’t quite get how it works….but I want to hear!

It’s really easy – it just sounds difficult. Just dial the #. They ask for the access code. Sometimes they ask you to introduce yourself first, then they ask you to punch a code that will mute your phone. (Or sometimes they will just ask you to mute your own phone.)

Then you just sit back and enjoy the wisdom being shared. I’m looking forward to hearing it. I’m putting it on my calendar and I’ll remind everyone when it comes around next week. 🙂 If you have a specific question you want addressed, email it to Marilyn at the address she listed above. (Generally the sooner you do that, the better – a lot of times the questions fill up quickly.)

If I manage to do this, would anyone want me to post my notes??? (Just a thought…. It means, of course, you get it with my slant….//////) 😉

  3. Margie says:

Oh, of course we want your slant on it LOL. The official Javadawn take is our truth.

  4. javadawn says:

    You’re a brave woman, Margie….a brave woman!!! 🙂 (Or crazy???!!!) 😉

(Any news re: the house situation???)

  5. Listening says:

I have never listened to one of these, Dawn… have you? Can as many people as choose to phone in? Or is there a limit?
    Veryyyyyy interesting.
    Ann

Ann, yes, but not with Marilyn. I have been on a call like this with 500 people!! It’s such a funny thing to me. I grew up with “party lines” (is anyone but me old enough to remember these???) so this is like a REALLY BIG party line, in my mind. 🙂

It is interesting to me too, as I heard Reb teach before his Crisis in Homeschooling series. I’m really curious to see how that affects his teaching now. I’ll let you all know. I’m looking forward to my opportunity to be Listening. 😉 😉

  7. Let us know in case I miss out. Hopefully the kiddies will be in bed by then, but hubby might need some attention;)

  8. javadawn says:

Hubbies are like that. Yep. 😀

  9. Michelle says:

I noticed it’s a toll call. Any idea how long he will be speaking? Dawn, I’d be so appreciative if you’d post your “notes” just in case we can’t make the call.

  10. javadawn says:

Ladies, for anyone who is interested I will HAPPILY post my notes. I have Vonage, so the call is FREE for me. (doing my “I love free” happy dance) 🙂

I will try to make them so that they make sense, even. WOW, did I REALLY offer to do that?!! 😉

Feel no obligation to thank me, although chocolate is always a good thing. 😉 😉 😉 😀
