What is the need?

Ladies – tornadoes, blizzards, hail and heavy rains – it appears to be raging all across the US.  Please, if you are aware of any needs – physical or prayer – please share them.  Allow us to help carry this.

(For those of you in the direct path – Melanie, Michelle??, Sarah…whimsy, maybe?  Please check in and let us know how you and those you love are.)

I guess one ought to read her blog site before posting a question – she might just find the answer to her question. 🙄

Michelle – any damage to your place at all?

And Shannon, what about you? Tiff?? You guys affected by this at all?

No requests, praising God that both hubby’s and my cars were in garages when we got a nice pelting of ice cubes (it’s not hail according to hubby, but ice chunks–some technical thing….). Thinking of those getting hit harder than we were….

We’re good here, and I think expected to be just fine. Actually it has been beautiful here the past couple of days. I won’t tell you about it though, it would be mean.

Hoping everyone else is finding themselves with unexpectedly nice weather as well.

I guess we’re in midst of a blizzard (W.I.N.D. but not as much snow as north or west of us)… but warm (w/heat & power) and safe. DH made it home yesterday before they closed I-35 =)

Melanie, sure am glad to hear from you. When I heard that they had declared “state of emergency” for your entire area, we sure started praying for you!!!

The boys came home last night excited that “Dry Run” (the creek south of our house) is flooded. The road was flooded just north of our house as well according to Edmund’s nurse. Today we have deep snow drifts and lots of wind, but no damage. All is good. Thanks for asking.

{and thanks for asking, Dawn — and praying! I was a little worried about Tim yesterday…I had to get a message to him in midst of his class, but he was able to drive home while it was still just wet} I do have a brother/family in Ft.Dodge that I haven’t checked with — my guess is that they are stuck at home, but safe with plenty of warning… Guess I should be making some phone calls? I’m wondering about other friends who lost electricity last weekend…

Glad to hear everyone is safe and sound!
