If it looks like a duck,

if it waddles like a duck, if it quacks like a duck, if it swims like a duck, if it has a beak like a duck, then by gum admit it’s a duck and let’s have dinner together!!! My dearest friend, I love talking to you.  We have such good and edifying discussions.  But, I must adjure you, deal with this issue for what it is!

If what you’re believing is leaving you feeling fearful, it can’t be from God.  (There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.)

If what you’re believing is leaving you feeling defeated, it can’t be from God.  (No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.)

If what you’re believing is leaving you feeling discouraged, it can’t be from God. (Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus)

If what you’re believing is leaving you feeling depressed, without joy, it can’t be from God. (Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy)

If it can’t be from God, it must be from the enemy.  If it’s from the enemy draw near to the Lord, RESIST HIM and he will flee.  He W.I.L.L. flee.  Don’t give him another moment of your time, nor another cell of your brain. (Let alone another action of your being!)

If it looks like a duck, if it waddles like a duck, if it quacks like a duck, if it swims like a duck, if it has a beak like a duck, then by gum it’s a duck – if it lies like the enemy, if it steals like the enemy, if it destroys like the enemy, then by gum it’s the enemy and run him through with the Sword and let’ s still have dinner together cause I do like being with you.

Love,  ~ Dawn
